About Us

Tíra is a style and safety focused design company based in Iceland. Established in 2008 its focus is on designing and manufacturing accessories which mix high intensity reflective thread and icelandic wool. The radiant wool accessories are hand crafted in Iceland and intended to add the element of style to reflectors. The flowers, straps, bands and reflectors are intended for those who might not otherwise wear reflective products; the company's goal is to increase visibility and safety. This is in part inspired by the long, dark Icelandic winters. The company is run by Icelandic/Canadian artist and designer Alice Olivia Clarke and Icelandic architect Kári Eiríksson.
